THE new ‘MEWPs Safety – Boom Lifts’ DVD from Blue Slate Videos is a comprehensive training aid for everyone involved in training boom-lift operators.
The hazards involved with operating boom lifts (cherry pickers) are well known in the construction and allied industries: being trapped against a structure; the machine tipping over; or falling from the platform.
YouTube has some horrendous examples of the potential for disaster, so this new DVD provides a welcome addition to the safety training aids that can be used by everyone involved in the training of operators.
