McHale open new base in Scotland
Metso UK distributor expands aftermarket parts and service support north of the border
METSO distribution partners McHale Plant Sales Ltd have expanded their UK coverage by opening a new Edinburgh base in Scotland.
The depot, which will strengthen the company’s focus on customer service support north of the border, is being operated as a standalone addition to its Tamworth headquarters, primarily providing spares and wear parts for Metso mobile crushers and screens.
The new branch – which will be managed by Louise Hunter – will also act as a UK-wide customer contact and communications centre. McHale’s longer-term plans for the new Edinburgh site include adding machinery sales services and a technical support centre.
Darragh O’Driscoll, business development director at McHale, said: ‘We are pleased with our progress from a standing start. We will move forward aware of the challenges ahead in building our teams in Tamworth and Edinburgh, primarily through appointments in technical and customer support roles. Intensifying our contacts with Metso owners throughout England, Scotland, and Wales will be an additional objective.’
