Maptek to promote Vulcan in Indonesia
Maptek engage PT Globecon Indonesia (PTGI) as local representative for Vulcan software
MAPTEK have announced an agreement with PT Globecon Indonesia (PTGI) to promote Maptek Vulcan geological modelling and mine planning software in Indonesia.
PTGI will sell Vulcan to the Indonesian mining market, as well as offering technical support, training and consulting for Vulcan users through their offices in Jakarta and Balikpapan.
All PTGI technical staff are trained and experienced in Vulcan and will work closely with Maptek staff, supported by Maptek’s global network, to ensure high-quality outcomes are delivered to Indonesian customers.
‘Indonesian mining has matured into a professional and skilled industry, where technical adaptation is readily accepted,’ commented Roy Fordham Vogler, president of PT Globecon Indonesia.
Peter Johnson, general manager of Maptek Australia, added: ‘PT Globecon Indonesia’s dedication to maintaining close customer relationships and applying technical skills to solve their problems will complement the proven capabilities of Vulcan.’
