Zappshelter now bringing their robust weatherproof shelter systems to the UK rental market

ZAPPSHELTER, UK manufacturers of engineered weatherproof shelter systems, have recently announced the official launch of their dedicated rental service, Zappshelter Hire. This new offering provides businesses across every industry with immediate access to Zappshelter’s flexible container canopy and bulk material storage bay solutions, engineered to ‘Protect What Matters’.

Zappshelter are known for creating covered areas that are either temporary or permanent, designed and strenuously tested for the world’s harshest environments. The new hire service directly addresses the growing demand for flexible, cost-effective solutions for expanding storage, workshops, and welfare facilities on site. The OpEx funding option facilitates quicker procurement and installation compared with traditional CapEx purchase models. The hire service offers organizations the opportunity to trial Zappshelter solutions on site, providing proof of concept before considering a permanent acquisition.

The core benefits of the Zappshelter system are its fast deployment, durability, and flexibility. The shelters are typically installed in just one to three days and are fully relocatable as project needs change. Moreover, because they require no groundworks or foundations, they are generally regarded by planning authorities as temporary structures, potentially eliminating the requirement for planning permission.

Zappshelter structures are engineered for resilience, featuring a heavy-duty framework made from Ferroten corrosion-resistant steel and a Taurinox fabric cover. This custom-developed, double-woven, co-polymer fabric is UV-stable, waterproof, fire-retardant, and offers 70% light transmission. Zappshelter have to date weathered more than 70 official Met Office storms without a single structural failure.

‘We established Zappshelter with the simple promise of offering the world’s strongest and most reliable temporary shelters,’ said Craig Michel, founder and chief executive officer of Zappshelter. ‘Launching Zappshelter Hire is a strategic move that brings our unparalleled engineering to a wider customer base who need high-quality, short-term, or project-specific solutions. It’s about providing flexibility without compromising on protection – ensuring our clients’ most valuable assets are shielded from the elements, whatever the environment.’

Typical applications for the Zappshelter Hire range include:

  • Covered storage for materials, tools, and plant machinery

  • Temporary or permanent outdoor workshops

  • Loading bays and goods-in/goods-out areas

  • Dedicated spaces for vehicle servicing, repairs, and re-spraying

  • Shelter for personnel, welfare, and breakout spaces on site.

According to Zappshelter, the new hire service is already generating positive feedback from customers. As the managing director of Mr Plant Hire Ltd noted regarding their installation: ‘The whole process was very simple from start to finish and managed very professionally. We now have more equipment stored undercover and staff that can work in a nicer environment when preparing the kit for rental.’

Zappshelter Hire is available immediately, offering span options from 6m up to 20m wide with clearance heights suitable for HGVs or large plant machinery.
