King Concrete invest £1.5 million in new Utranazz equipment
Latest order includes HM12H-E volumetric concrete mixers, a Mobile 60 wet-batch plant and a 100-ton upright silo
CONCRETE equipment specialists Utranazz have recently supplied new plant and equipment – worth £1.5 million – to Croydon-based King Concrete. The order includes: two HM12H-E volumetric concrete mixers; four standard transit mixers; two LS600 concrete line pumps; a Mobile 60 batching plant; and a 100-ton upright silo.
The new fleet of Utranazz equipment not only represents King Concrete’s partial plant replacement programme but also significant investment in the company’s new state-of-the-art concrete batching facility in Croydon.
Nigel Leach, managing director of King Concrete, said: ‘I’ve worked with Utranazz for over 15 years and have built up an excellent relationship with them. I trust the company and their products, which are always of excellent build quality.
‘These purchases demonstrate King Concrete’s commitment to supplying quality concrete, in the most up-to-date vehicles, to our customers. It also reinforces our dedication to expanding our concrete batching offering, enabling greater working capacity and concrete collection services.’
The new Mobile 60 wet-batch plant is capable of batching 60 cubic metres of wet concrete per hour and has two separate conveyor belts to facilitate faster batching. One belt is used to weigh the aggregates while the other belt simultaneously feeds the single-shaft mixer. This allows for precise measurement of raw materials and continual loading during batching.
All components of the Mobile 60 plant can be managed via three different operating systems – a desktop computer, manual control panel or an Android App. It uses the ProkserNET software system which allows the operator to monitor and control all aspects of the plant, including creating and storing formulas, batching reports and delivery notes. The software can be integrated with accounting software to provide auto-invoicing.
