Despite only recently launching into the UK, Industrial Speciality Lubricants (ISL) are celebrating real success after receiving a huge surge in interest and orders at the recent Hillhead 2010 show in Buxton.
ISL, exclusive distributors of Whitmore’s high-performance range of lubricating products in the UK, took the decision to celebrate their launch earlier this year with a stand at the show.
‘Interest exceeded all of our expectations and we’re thrilled with the fantastic leads we’ve received’, explained Leanne Combrinck, marketing assistant at ISL. ‘Not only have we already secured business from the show, but our offer of free cost and efficiency audits has been really well received and the diaries of our specialist engineers are filling up fast.’
The company distribute Whitmore’s full range across the UK, and have their own dedicated servicing and support team for on-hand advice and guidance. ‘We’re all senior level, experienced professionals and it’s this expertise and industry knowledge which really sets us apart from others out there’, Leanne added.
ISL conducted cost analyses with potential clients to show how much they could save by switching to a better quality lubricant. They demonstrated how it is a false economy to use a non-speciality, basic or cheap lubricant once the cost of replacing components due to increased wear, plus the downtime involved, has been factored in.
