Successful demo sees Kilsaran Concrete take delivery of first IMS tracked blender sold in Ireland

FOLLOWING a recent successful on-site demonstration by Ormonde Machinery, where the benefits of the IMS BP1200-9TB mobile blending plant were fully demonstrated, Kilsaran Concrete are now the owners of the first tracked IMS blender sold in Ireland.

Conal Mullan, general manager of Ormonde Machinery, commented: ‘We were very impressed with the IMS blending plant and decided to order one for our stock. The first unit has proven to be very reliable and is producing an in-spec product at high volumes.

‘Being an industry leader, Kilsaran will undoubtedly benefit from the versatility of the tracked blender with its ability to mix any aggregate, sand, topsoil, or any material you can feed with your loading shovel. Being a track-mounted unit means the customer can use this unit at multiple locations.’

Joseph McMeel of Irish Manufacturing Services (IMS) said: ‘Over the years, we have had great success with the BP1200-9TB tracked blending plant in the UK market, so it was great to place one of these in Ireland. Conal and his team saw the opportunities with this plant and their willingness to showcase it at Kilsaran has resulted in yet another success story for both Ormonde and IMS.’
