Former intern Shahrad Behboudi returns on three-month placement as health and safety administrator
SHAHRAD Behboudi, who completed a seven-week internship with Hills Quarry Products over the summer after graduating from Lancaster University with a degree in Economics, has returned to the company on a three-month placement as health and safety administrator.
Mr Behboudi, who is completing his placement alongside studying for his master’s degree in Management with Finance at the University of Bath, said: ‘I’ve been back at Hills since 8 November and there are so many projects I’m excited to get stuck into.’
Supported by health and safety support manager Mia Jones and executive assistant Karen Allison, Mr Behboudi is said to be making great progress with the management of Hill’s contractors project using the company’s health and safety software platform, EcoOnline. Bringing energy and enthusiasm, he is regarded as an asset to the team.
Mia Jones said: ‘Shahrad is a joy to have on the team. We’re proud to support young professionals with training and work experience to help with their first steps into fruitful careers in quarrying.’
