Improved remote-lighting system

Transport Support supply a range of remote-controlled lightning/switching system that are designed to help prevent slip, trip and fall hazards, particularly on early morning starts and dark winter evenings.

The latest version of the lighting system has a range of new features:

• a time delay that automatically switches the light off after a set time
• single fixing light that can be angled lower than the previous light
• fixed receiver antenna for better range
• receiver unit has a built-in fixing for secure mounting to a vehicle.

The original system was designed to provide access lighting to operators of large quarrying vehicles that are parked in dark areas of the site. The standard system switches on a 12V or 24V 70W halogen flood light that is mounted above the access ladders to the vehicle.

The system has now been developed into a fully functioning remote-switching system that can be used to remotely operate a range of devices, including beacons, sounders/sirens, auto-sheeting etc
