Improved aluminium MSRT installation tool from Flexco
To complement their SR fastening system, Flexco have introduced an improved aluminium MSRT installation tool, aimed at providing a lightweight, portable application solution.
The aluminium MSRT rivet driving tool has been designed to assist splice installers operating in harsh working environments, where heavy splicing equipment has to be moved on a regular basis.
The scalloped design of the tool’s riser plate, say Flexco, ensures fast, accurate alignment of fastener strips on the anvil plate, as it positions the belt for easier feed into the strips.
Elsewhere, the robust design of the clamp bar with Acme threading provides maximum holding capabilities, especially on thick, high-tension belts where a safe stronghold is required.
For more secure clamping and greater operator efficiency, both the clamp bar and riser plate have serrated grips.
In addition, use of Flexco’s Rapid Loader collated rivet strips to load 20 rivets at a time, further reduces installation time and, again, increases operator efficiency.
