IExpE Journal Awards Competition 2015

Cash prizes on offer in the Institute of Explosives Engineers’ best paper competition

THE Institute of Explosives Engineers (IExpE) is inviting readers of Agg-Net (both members and non-members of IExpE) to demonstrate new ideas, forward vision, perception or innovation by writing an article on any explosives-related topic for publication in Explosives Engineering, the quarterly journal of the Institute.

Papers/articles should be no more than 3,500 words in length and presented in Word document format. Possible themes might include but are not limited to: blasting and mining/quarrying; demolition; education and training (CPD); environmental concerns; explosives equipment and storage; explosives manufacture; health and safety considerations.

 

Four cash prizes of £500 plus an engraved tankard will be awarded in each of the following four categories: General public/academics/students/non-members of IExpE; Associate members of IExpE; Members of IExpE (three prizes); and Fellows of IExpE.
