PPE specialists Protector Technologies have launched a new safety helmet specifically designed for use in the most arduous environments.
In addition to standard EN397 certification, the new Style 600 helmet features a number of increased capabilities including lateral deformation strengthening to provide side pressure as well as impact resistance, full functionality at temperatures as low as -30øC, and electrical insulation. Manufactured from high-quality ABS, it also includes an optional integral drop-down eye shield which provides protection to EN166. In addition, the helmet's special accessory slots are compatible with a wide range of hearing protection from passive ear muffs to advanced, level-dependent communication sets.
Weighing just 340g, the helmet's specially balanced design features an eight-point Terylene head harness and new headgear featuring a deep nape strap for wearer comfort. For added comfort, a special venting system option decreases heat build-up on the head in arduous conditions. The Style 600 is available in a range of eight standard helmet colours and offers six different locations for corporate branding.
