HeidelbergCement extend managing board contracts
Dr Bernd Scheifele and Dr Lorenz Nager to continue their roles by five more years
THE supervisory board of HeidelbergCement AG has extended the work contracts of Dr Bernd Scheifele (pictured), chairman of the managing board, and Dr Lorenz Nager, chief financial officer, for five years each. The new term of the agreement of Dr Scheifele runs until the end of January 2020, while Dr Nager will continue his role until the end of September 2019.
Fritz-Jürgen Heckmann, chairman of the supervisory board of HeidelbergCement, commented: ‘HeidelbergCement are very glad that both Dr. Scheifele and Dr. Nager, together with the management and employees of the company, will continue their successful work of the past years. This step will guarantee continuity in the years to come as well as a trusting and constructive cooperation between supervisory board and managing Board.’
Dr Scheifele has been chairman of the managing board of HeidelbergCement since 2005. He is directly in charge of Strategy & Development, Communication & Investor Relations, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, and Internal Audit.
Dr Nager has been member of the managing board of HeidelbergCement since 2004. He is directly in charge of Finance, Group Accounting, Controlling, Taxes, Insurance & Risk Management, IT, Shared Service Center, and Logistics.
