Heavy-duty seal provides double the safety
Oz Seal have developed the heavy-duty Quattro Seal as part of their standard seal range which, they say, is twice as safe as a standard seal. With lower leakage and failure rates, the new Quattro seal is suitable for a range of heavy-duty hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
The Quattro Seal uses four sealing surfaces to make a positive seal, which is twice the number used by a standard seal. With less pressure required to create a positive seal the life of the seal is extended. If the primary seal does fail, the secondary seal backs it up, which lowers leakage and failure rates. The Quattro Seal will also work in extreme temperatures and remains flexible at low temperatures.
The Quattro Seal is available in a standard range of profiles in both metric and imperial units.
