HCMUK add Port of Tyne to ISO certification
Hitachi Construction Machinery UK add dedicated product support facility into scope of certification
IN 2021, Hitachi Construction Machinery UK (HCMUK) transitioned their quality, health and safety, environmental, and energy-management systems from NQA, their previous certification body partner, over to BSI.
As part of this transition and following the completion of both a transfer assessment and extension to scope audit, HCMUK have now successfully added their dedicated product support facility at the Port of Tyne into the scope of their certification covering all four ISO standards.
Stephen Creasier, director of product support at HCMUK, said: ‘As both the company and the product support department continue to grow, adding the Port of Tyne depot into the scope of our ISO certification shows HCMUK’s commitment to operating safely and sustainably.
‘Adding this additional site on to our certification is thanks to the hard work, support, and dedication of the local depot team. We look forward to partnering with BSI to continuously improve our processes, allowing us to offer the best-possible service to our customers and other stakeholders.’
