Fully electric mobile crusher from Baioni

BAIONI Crushing Plants have added a new tracked unit to their mobile crushing plant product range with the launch of the BAITRACK 130/85B AP. The new machine, which is capable of crushing large quantities of large-sized materials, is said to be the only one of its kind in the world to be fully driven by electric motors, both for unit motion and production.

For the first time ever, this compact, self-propelled machine is equipped with an electric motor to power the movement of the tracks, which is especially beneficial where operating space is limited, such as on smaller quarry or demolition sites, but where high performance is  still required.

Designed as complete crushing and screening plant, the new modular system operates equally efficiently handling abrasive rocks as well as mineral-based demolition material, even in confined and narrow spaces.

The BAITRACK 130/85B AP is built around Baioni’s large jaw crusher, the BP 130/85B, which has feed opening measuring 1,300mm x 860mm. An inclined apron feeder delivers the feed load from a low-level hopper to the crusher, with the finest material being pre-screened by a grizzly.

The machine can be operated remotely via a standard remote-control system, while a range of optional equipment allows the creation of custom-made units for improved work flexibility. It is also easy to transport and quick to set-up, and is said to comply with safety and environmental standards.

According to Baioni, the BAITRACK 130/85B represents a totally new concept in tracked crusher design, with the aim of increasing production and reducing operating costs. The advantages over hydraulic versions are said to include: a more energetic performance; lower operating costs; lower maintenance costs; reduced disposal of oil filters; lower environmental impact; and smoother, more accurate drive.
