French Open Day for TWS

TWS Aggwash plant

Terex Washing Systems to showcase Aggwash wash plant at exclusive open day event in Chambellay

TEREX Washing Systems (TWS) have announced that the second of several planned ‘Open Days’ in 2014 will take place on Friday 12 September in Chambellay, France.

Dealers and customers from France and neighbouring countries will be able to see a recently installed Terex Aggwash wash plant processing natural sand and gravel to produce three aggregate grades, one sand and one oversize product.

The TWS team has worked closely with French distributors Catecom to organize the event, as well as with Santrac, the customer who is hosting the event.

TWS sales manager Fergal McPhillips commented: ‘Catecom have grown from strength to strength over the last two years, clearly demonstrating an acute understanding of the washing demands in France.

‘They have greatly increased market share and have expanded their business line for greater future growth within all washing segments such as speciality/recipe sands, concrete and building sands and in wash recycling.

‘TWS are delighted to be in a position to showcase the Aggwash in France, [a machine] which is currently operating effectively for many customers around the globe.’

The Terex Aggwash is a mobile wash plant that brings together rinsing, screening, scrubbing and sand washing capabilities on a single transportable chassis.

Primarily designed for the processing of construction and demolition waste but equally suited to virgin material applications, the Aggwash is capable of producing four grades of aggregate and one or two grades of sand with a capacity in excess of 70 tonnes/h.
