First Terex Finlay 860 goes to work in Europe
Versatile and compact new scalpers start tracking off the production line at Terex Dungannon
THE first Terex Finlay 860 scalper production model to track off the production line at Terex Dungannon has gone straight to work in a recycling application in Europe.
The new and versatile tracked scalper is a compact, forward-facing, heavy-duty screen designed for primary and secondary screening in applications such as aggregates, sand and gravel, topsoil, and construction and demolition waste recycling on sites where site space is at a premium.
The fully self-contained plant, which can be hydraulically folded and ready for transport in less than 30 minutes, can be fed by a crusher, screener or loader. The Terex Finlay 890’s aggressive, modular screenbox design measures 2.77m x 1.22m (9ft1in x 4ft) and can accept bofor bars, harp screen, woven mesh, punch plate and cascade fingers.
The longitudinal configuration of the machine’s powerpack means the engine compartment offers excellent access for maintenance and service, whilst Terex’s T-Link telematics hardware and software, along with a free seven-year data subscription, are fitted and installed as standard.
