THE popular IQ Academy ‘Lunch and Learn’ webinar series returns this month with engineering professional Nick Peatling, director of NIRAC Design Engineering, sharing his in-depth knowledge of quarry plant design, plant installation and materials handling.

‘The Basis of Plant Design with Nick Peatling, NIRAC’ will take place from 12.30–13.00 on Thursday 26 July 2018. Nick has worked in the quarrying industry for more than 35 years delivering projects for many of the major aggregate producers. His company benefits from many years of experience and expertise within the industry, with the team working extensively on aggregate crushing and mechanical-handling projects. His bite-size webinar session will explore:

  • Specialist contractors and suppliers
  • Transport, dumptrucks or conveyors
  • In-pit crushing
  • Storage
  • Timescales
  • Costs.
