ESI launch new company Envirep
Company launch opens up environmental desk study reports on unique fixed-price basis
WITH environmental legislation becoming ever-more challenging to comprehend and comply with in the UK, a leading independent scientific environmental consultancy specializing in water, land and sustainable development has this month launched an innovative subsidiary company to produce interpretative environmental desk study reports on a unique fixed-price basis.
ESI Ltd have launched a new company, Envirep, which has been set up to provide clients across the country with concise environmental risk reports that are quick and cost-effective, and unlike anything else currently on the market.
‘Envirep has been launched by ESI following an increased demand from local authorities, land and property owners, and commercial businesses, such as banks and mortgage companies, for interpretative environmental reports covering requirements during the planning process,’ explained senior consultant at the firm, Lisa Davies (pictured third from left).
‘Bringing a wealth of practical experience from both environmental and hydrological disciplines, the Envirep team approaches each report with specialist skills and technical knowledge to deliver the information required by regulators, lawyers and lenders. By keeping reports site specific, factual and to the point, we are able to offer competitive rates, and a range of unparalleled fixed-price reports which we feel the market has been seeking for some time.’
Envirep provide desk study environmental risk reports covering contaminated land, flood risk and drainage, and ground stability, with each report subject to a dedicated quality approval system and stringent review process. Each report is individually produced and clearly identifies likely site-specific risks and, where appropriate, solutions to limit such risks.
Reports can also be used for clarification of risk for insurance and site purchases. For more complex assessments Envirep also have the benefit of being able to access dedicated consultants and specialists from parent company ESI.
All reports meet the requirements of the National Planning Policy Framework and SPP7, and follow the Environment Agency’s Model Procedures for the Management of Land Contamination CLR11. For further information call: 0845 606 6650; or email: [email protected]
