Ennstone considering bid for Breedon

In line with their stated intention to expand their English aggregates business by acquisition, Ennstone are reported to be considering a bid for Breedon. Ennstone already hold a 6.24% stake in the Derbyshire-based company. Breedon, meanwhile, have urged shareholders not to react while they seek clarification of Ennstone's intentions.
