End of an era at the BAA
Peter Huxtable bows out as Secretary of the British Aggregates Association after 23 years
HAVING been Secretary of the British Aggregates Association (BAA) since its inception in 1999, Peter Huxtable (pictured) has decided the time is now right to bow out to spend more time with friends and family.
Wishing him a very long and happy future, the Association said his contribution over the years had helped to bring the BAA to where it is today and that his presence and dedication would be sorely missed.
BAA chairman Paul McManus added: ‘I’d like to express my personal gratitude and sincere thanks for all Peter’s sterling work on behalf of the Association since its inception. I know Bob Durward greatly appreciated everything Peter did, and I would like to add my sincere personal thanks for the support, guidance, and sound counsel he has given me since Bob’s passing.’
