Edge Innovate launch new vessel loader
Company adds versatile TL220 loader to its growing range of mobile bulk-handling equipment
EDGE Innovate have unveiled their new static (SL), mobile (ML) and tracked (TL) vessel loader, which is designed to handle materials up to 1,200 tonnes/h and accept products from large dumptrucks or tipping trailers.
The highly versatile TL220 mobile unit features a conventional belt design with a large wide track-mounted receiving hopper to accommodate loader filling. The mobility of the Edge loader is achieved by a diesel engine-driven power unit with remote control. It can also be supplied with a discharge conveyor with full 180-degree radial swing. The radial feature allows left/right movement via internal hydraulic drives, allowing the operator to radial from any position without stopping production.
The machine handles a variety of materials, including: crushed aggregate, topsoil, bark, coal, ash and sand. It can be used in a wide range of applications, eg discharging into ships, barges, train wagons, crushers, screens etc.
Options on the Edge TL220 loader include: a hydraulically folding ramp; wear-resistant hopper liner plates; dust covers; and full radio remote-control operation. These features combined with the loader’s hydraulic height adjustment, say Edge, make it one of the most mobile and flexible loading solutions on the market.
