EcoOperator Programme from SMT GB gains IQ accreditation
IQ members can now earn valuable CPD points by completing advanced operator learning programme
TO promote safer and more sustainable machine operation, SMT GB offer the EcoOperator Programme from Volvo Construction Equipment, an advanced course equipping skilled operators to reduce fuel consumption, emissions, and wear, while increasing productivity and safety.
Now, members of the Institute of Quarrying (IQ) who complete the EcoOperator Programme with SMT GB will earn 6h of valuable continuing professional development (CPD) points, highlighting an ongoing dedication to continuous improvement, enhancing personal skills, and sustainability knowledge.
SMT and the IQ share a common goal of promoting safety and sustainability in the quarrying and aggregate industry and understand that developing successful learning programmes that nurture adaptability is key for modern operators to meet the demands of today’s industry.
