Doosan Bobcat appoint new EMEA president
New Czech Republic-based appointment for Doosan Bobcat’s long-serving Gary Hornbacher
DOOSAN Bobcat have appointed Gary Hornbacher as the company’s new president of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. He will be based in Dobris, in the Czech Republic, where the company has consolidated its manufacturing facility, R&D centre, training institute and EMEA headquarters on to a single 120,000m2 campus.
Mr Hornbacher (pictured), who has served in a diverse range of roles during his 36-year tenure with Doosan Bobcat, has extensive experience in sales and marketing, product management, strategy, and total quality management. His most recent position was as vice-president of channel development and training at Doosan Bobcat North America.
Scott Park, chief executive officer and vice-chairman of Doosan Bobcat, said: ‘We are excited to welcome Gary Hornbacher as the new president of Doosan Bobcat EMEA. His previous experience as senior vice-president commercial in the EMEA region coupled with his diverse background with Bobcat positions him to effectively drive forward our strategic vision and motto – we empower people to accomplish more.’
Mr Hornbacher, who assumes his new role on 1 July 2023 and will report to Mr Park, said: ‘I am thrilled to join the dynamic Bobcat EMEA region and look forward to again serving alongside our team.’
