Distributorship change for Powerscreen brand in Belgium

Streamlining of distribution network sees Netherlands-based Van Der Spek take over from BIA

AS part of a worldwide initiative to strengthen and streamline their distribution network, mobile crushing and screening equipment manufacturers Powerscreen have consolidated their sales, service and support activities in Belgium with Van Der Spek group – their existing partner in the Netherlands.

On 1 July 2011, Van Der Spek replaced BIA n.v. as the Dungannon-based company’s primary distribution partner for all crushing, screening and washing activities in Belgium.

All existing warranty and contract obligations will be met by BIA in regards to previously purchased Powerscreen equipment.

Acknowledging the contribution that BIA have made in representing the company in Belgium over the past decade, Powerscreen said consolidation of distribution throughout Belgium and the Netherlands with the Van Der Spek group would strengthen the company’s brand’s position in its core target market segments.
