Deutz open service centre in Madrid
Company strengthens distribution network in Spain and Portugal with new high-tech workshop and logistics area
COLOGNE-based engine manufacturers Deutz AG have opened a new 4,000 square metre service centre in Madrid, Spain.
As well as new office space, there is a 500 square metre workshop, a 1,000 square metre logistics area and a spare-parts shop for customers.
In addition to the workshop, four fully-equipped service vans will allow mechanics to carry out on-site repair work.
The logistics area is equipped with state-of-the-art, fully automated warehouse technology to ensure rapid and problem-free material handling.
‘The opening of the new service centre will provide the company’s local partners in Spain with a centre of excellence for diesel engine technology in which customer satisfaction, speed and efficiency will be given the utmost priority,’ said Isidoro De La Flor, head of sales for Deutz’s Spanish subsidiary, Deutz Díter.
'The new service centre will strengthen Deutz’s distribution network in both Spain and Portugal,' he added.
