Chicago Pneumatic launch new generator range
Latest CPDG (Chicago Pneumatic Diesel Generator) range offers robust design, reliable performance and ease of use
CHICAGO Pneumatic have introduced a new generator range specifically developed to offer customers a robust design, reliable performance and ease of use. Now available in Central and South America, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Australia, the generators have prime power outputs of 13kVA up to 100kVA at 50Hz, and 16kVA up to 116kVA at 60Hz.
Both 50Hz and 60Hz versions also come with a Perkins engine and Leroy-Somer alternator for high levels of uptime and worldwide support. The robust design of the generators includes a central reinforced structure to protect the engine and electrical cabinet, and a galvanized canopy for additional protection against elements.
The CPDG range is easy to operate with user-friendly instrument panels, backlighting on gauges and displays, and alarms for pre-determined warnings, including low-fuel level or high coolant temperature.
Maintenance is simple with large panels providing good access to all necessary components, while oil and coolant draining points outside the canopy allow for easy removal of fluids. Customers are able to customize the generators with a wide range of options, including a cold-weather kit and a fuel filter with water separator to maintain fuel quality for optimal performance.
‘With the CPDG, we can offer end-users a high-quality generator that is tailored to their specific needs,’ explained Julio Tome, divisional product manager generators for Chicago Pneumatic. ‘The CPDG can easily be moved from site to site and offers reliable performance in the toughest environments.’
