Company partners with CoachHub to launch innovative new digital coaching programme

CEMEX are making a considered investment into the progression of their employees in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa by partnering with global digital coaching leaders CoachHub.

The digitally enabled programme CoachUP! is the latest addition to Cemex EMEA’s existing portfolio of leadership development programmes and capability-building academies, unified under the award-winning Cemex University organization.

As an initial stage of the programme’s implementation, 40 Cemex employees from 12 different countries and functional areas across EMEA are participating in the first cohort of this six-month programme.

To date, more than 200 coaching sessions have been completed where participants identify their top strengths and work on their key development areas, with overwhelmingly positive feedback from participating employees and supervisors.

Carlos Delgado Conde, HR planning and development director for Cemex EMEA, commented: ‘At Cemex, we believe that investing in our people is vital to the success of our organization and achievement of our strategic goals. We therefore see the launch of this new coaching programme as a strong opportunity for our talent to keep developing differentiated leadership capabilities.

‘We believe that a strong and attractive learning and development portfolio, tightly connected to our company purpose and business priorities, supports performance and growth, while being a key component of our desired employee experience.’

Cemex say they are committed to supporting their employees as they develop their individual skills and abilities, in line with its specific company values of fostering innovation and embracing diversity. Close evaluation of the company’s initial cohort is being undertaken to assess the impact of the programme and apply any required developments for future participants.

Once this first group has completed the course, the aim is for this programme to be repeated over the coming years for up-and-coming talent across the business.
