Purchased by GE Capital Equipment Services, the first Volvo EC460 (46 tonnes) excavator to arrive in the UK is currently providing consistent performance and availability digging stent for Imerys' china clay operations in Cornwall.

Powered by a Cummins M11-C low-emission engine developing 200hp, the EC460 benefits from Volvo's Advanced Control System (ACS), which balances available engine power with hydraulic output, providing maximum production with minimum fuel consumption.
