Bosch Emission Systems commence operations
THE previously announced Bosch Emission Systems GmbH & Co. KG joint venture between Robert Bosch GmbH, Deutz AG and Eberspächer GmbH & Co. KG commenced operations earlier this month having received the necessary approvals from the EU Commission.
In December 2009, the three companies announced their intention to co-operate in reducing exhaust emissions from construction machinery and agricultural vehicles, to satisfy future emission regulations.
Based in Stuttgart, Bosch Emission Systems will utilize the core exhaust gas after-treatment competencies of the three companies involved, and will offer complete modular system solutions for diesel exhaust-gas after-treatment for off-road construction and agricultural machinery and on-road commercial vehicles.
These systems will include electronic control and, if required, optimized burner technology for the regeneration of diesel particulate filters. The joint venture’s portfolio is tailored to mobile and stationary machinery.
