Boral appoint new chief financial officer

Belinda Shaw to take over from acting chief financial officer Jared Gashel on 30 January 2023

BORAL Ltd have announced the appointment of Belinda Shaw as chief financial officer (CFO), effective 30 January 2023. She will take over from Jared Gashel, who has held the position of acting CFO since 19 April 2022.

Ms Shaw is an experienced CFO with significant experience in senior executive and finance roles. She is currently acting CFO at Sydney Airport, where she has held senior finance roles since 2019.

Prior to her time at Sydney Airport, Ms Shaw worked at General Electric Company (GE), where her career spanned 15 years, holding several senior executive roles in Asia and the Americas, including CFO Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

Boral’s chief executive officer and managing director, Vik Bansal, said: ‘I am delighted to welcome Belinda Shaw to the Boral team. She brings a diverse skillset to Boral, derived from working in high-growth industries across multiple geographies.
