Bobcat to unveil new telescopic handlers

Bobcat T35130S telehandler

Latest telehandler models set to make their worldwide debuts at Intermat 2015 in Paris

BOBCAT have announced that several new telescopic handlers will be making their debuts at the Intermat 2015 exhibition, in Paris, from 20–25 April.

The first of the new telehandlers is the TL358 compact model (6m lift height), which is available with rated capacities of either 2.6 tonnes or 3.0 tonnes. Bobcat are also showcasing their new T35130S (13m lift height) and T35140S (14m lift height) telehandler models developed especially for the rental industry. Both telescopic handlers offer a maximum 3.5-tonne lift capacity.

The TL358 unit has a very compact format with restricted width and height dimensions, allowing easy access to many congested areas and small buildings. If required, the TL358 can be supplied with a different cab to provide more height and increased visibility for the operator.

This new model has been designed to meet many applications and customer needs (primarily in construction and rental) where its overall compact dimensions, powerful 74.5kW engine and hydraulics, manoeuvrability and loading capacity offer a highly productive alternative to smaller machines that offer limited performance and use.

The global launch of the T35130S and T35140S models at Intermat 2015 will follow on from the introduction of the new Bobcat 10m, 12m, 14m and 18m lift height telescopic handlers over the last 12 months.

Particular attention has been paid to key aspects such as the protection of sensitive parts, and intuitive and safe operation to meet the needs of rental users.

As with other new-generation Bobcat equipment, the T35130S and T35140S units include a new cab that features a large parabolic windscreen, providing panoramic visibility that is especially useful when handling loads at heights.

Inside the cab there is a new dashboard with digital display and intuitive controls, including a joystick with integrated forward/reverse (FNR) control for improved productivity and safety.

The working envelope for the T35130S telehandler has a maximum lift height of 12.55m and maximum forward reach of 8.6m, while the Bobcat T35140S telehandler has a maximum lift height of 13.6m and maximum forward reach of 9.8m.
