Bobcat expand skid-steer range
The new S205 model from Bobcat has an operating weight of 2,831kg, a rated operating capacity of 930kg and a tipping load of 1,860kg.
Powered by a 45kW Kubota V2403T Tier II diesel engine, the S205 is available in two versions.
The standard-flow model provides a hydraulic flow of 62 litres/min, while an optional high-flow version provides a maximum hydraulic flow of 97 litres/min for operating attachments that require high hydraulic horsepower.
The S205 is a vertical-lift-path skid-steer loader with multiple-linkage boom arms combining a reach of 752mm with a lift height of 3,002mm. The dual-tilt cylinder design on the boom arms provides increased rollback power for digging and loading applications.
The low-profile lift arms and cab design enhance the operators’ view, and with its large opening, entering and leaving the cab is much easier. The seat bar, which pivots from the rear, provides secondary restraint protection and serves as an armrest.
A range of options is available, including a deluxe instrument panel with keyless start, back-up alarm system and Power Bob-Tach. The S205 also has a choice of three control systems: a traditional ‘H’ pattern system, which combines hand levers and foot pedals; an advanced hand-control system, for operators who prefer hand controls; and an advanced control system that allows the operator to select between hand controls or foot pedals for lift and tilt functions by simply flipping a switch in the cab.
