Blue London appoint new sales director

Danny Morgan

Danny Morgan appointed to develop sales in crushing and screening sector across London

BLUE Group have announced the appointment of Danny Morgan as sales director of the Crushing and Screening Division at the Blue London office, following his great success in developing the ‘Blue Used Equipment’ part of the business over the last 18 months.

Having joined the industry in 1998, Mr Morgan has a wealth of experience and a proven track record not only in growing sales, but also in overseeing long-term strategic development.

Over the years he has worked for numerous machinery brands, developing long-lasting customer relations within the market. And having worked in the US as well as Europe, Mr Morgan has not only built up considerable product knowledge, but has also acquired a strong understanding of the crushing and screening industry in general.

According to Blue Group, his achievements in the ‘Used’ sector have been remarkable, with more than £7 million of equipment sold to customers across the globe in 2016.

Commenting on his new role, Mr Morgan said: ‘I’m very excited to be taking this next step in my career with Blue Machinery. We have a great customer base in London who know the value of high-quality, reliable machinery to their businesses, which gives me confidence that we can meet our ambitious plans for the future.

‘I am looking forward to getting started and speaking to customers old and new, to ensure we continue to deliver valuable, ongoing solutions to our clients.’

Mr Morgan’s main responsibility will be to develop sales in the crushing and screening sector, both across Blue London’s existing customer base, built up over the last 25 years, and with customers in new market segments through the ability to offer both the Powerscreen and recently launched EvoQuip brands.

He will also be responsible for developing the sales function at Blue London, managing the London salesmen, as well as looking to extend the team.
