Ben Williams takes charge of EPC Groupe technical activities
New IQ President Ben Williams takes on head of global technical solutions role for EPC Groupe
EPC-UK’s managing director and new Institute of Quarrying (IQ) President Ben Williams has been appointed to the position of head of global technical solutions for EPC Groupe.
While Mr Williams will continue to be responsible for the EPC business in the UK, he will additionally report, in an operational capacity, for EPC Groupe, leading the company’s technical activities globally.
Taking responsibility for creating, implementing, and driving EPC Groupe’s global technical solutions for all applications from quarrying and open-pit/underground mining through to tunnelling and civil projects, the scope of Mr Williams’ oversight includes all EPC Groupe’s physical, digital, and metrological capabilities. With the role also comes a vision to bring EPC Groupe’s new ‘Technology Eco System’ to an international market.
Mr Williams said: ‘I’m extremely proud to have been given the opportunity to drive EPC Groupe’s technological activity on a global level.
