New planning portal now offers bespoke service covering sectors not previously included
BDS, an independent market research company specializing in the minerals, heavy building material industries, and waste sectors, have welcomed the New Year with a new Planning Portal.
BDS monitor planning activity across planning authorities in Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. This information is made available to clients via the BDS online portal and monthly reports, via an annual subscription.
BDS identify and report on planning applications within the following industry sectors:
- Minerals, asphalt plants and related schemes
- Concrete, cementitious and mortar schemes
- Waste-management schemes
- Retail – food stores/non-food stores
- Leisure facilities – sports pitches/MUGA facilities/golf courses and related activities/swimming pools
- Land protection
- House builders
- Bespoke (specific areas not covered within the above sectors).
The new planning portal provides both the flexibility for the collection and provision of planning information for identified industry sectors and, in addition, now offers a bespoke service to cover sectors not previously included.
Existing subscribers to the BDS planning service subscribe to ensure they are at the forefront of change within the industry and to monitor competitor activity. Suppliers of equipment, products and services also use the planning information to gain new sales leads.
Anyone interested in obtaining planning information to support their business or wishing to expand their existing subscription to include additional planning sectors or investigate a new area of work through the bespoke planning service, should contact BDS for more information.
Other areas of expertise offered by BDS include reports and consultancy. The company has a strong portfolio of publicly available directories, contracts, outputs, surveys and industry sector reports, in addition to regularly undertaking industry-focused consultancy work on a client-by-client basis.
