Bauma: Doosan to unveil several new machines at bauma 2019
Product line-up will include Stage V-compliant DX300LC-7 excavator, new articulated dumptrucks and wheel loader models
DOOSAN Construction Equipment will be showing a wide range of new products, including the DX800LC-5B and Stage V-compliant DX300LC-7 excavator models; 30- and 40-tonne class Stage V articulated dumptrucks (ADTs); and the latest DL280-5, DL420CVT-5 and DL580-5 wheel loaders for the first time at bauma.
The company’s ‘LC-7’ Stage V excavators, such as the new DX300LC-7, build on the successful design of the previous Stage IV machines. The LC-7 excavators feature major enhancements in operator comfort, machine controllability, productivity, uptime and return on investment, with a strong focus on low fuel consumption, increased power, robustness and versatility.
The new 80-tonne DX800LC-5B crawler excavator offers optimum value to the end-user, thanks to greater productivity, high fuel efficiency, superior comfort for the operator and enhanced reliability, durability and maximum uptime. It has been designed to meet the needs of heavy-duty mining and quarrying applications, as well as major infrastructure construction projects.
In 2018, the Doosan DA30 ADT was upgraded with a range of features, including a new cab, a self-levelling front suspension and a tandem bogie system, which are all incorporated in the latest Stage V model. A similar process has been applied in the new 40 tonne Stage V-compliant articulated dumptruck, with a new cab and semi-levelling front suspension that adjusts independently, depending on the operating conditions to ensure a comfortable working environment for the operator.
The Stage V ADTs are powered by new Scania 9-litre and 11-litre engines with improved after-treatment systems. The Stage V-complaint Scania engines underwent two years of intensive testing in construction and mining environments and passed with flying colours.
Designed for the waste and recycling sectors, the all-new DL280-5 wheel loader will be shown in its full waste industry configuration at bauma. The waste specification – or ‘waste kit’ as it is known – includes: Z-bar kinematics with a simple lifting piston system designed for heavy-duty applications; and protectors for lifting and bucket cylinders, lamps and rear engine bonnet.
Also on show will be the new Stage IV-compliant DX250WMH-5 material-handler for use in in the waste, recycling and demolition sectors.
