Another Gold CCS Award for Keltbray
Demolition specialists scoop second Gold Award under City of London’s Considerate Contractor Scheme
KELTBRAY, UK specialists in engineering, construction, demolition, decommissioning and remediation services, have secured a Gold Award under the City of London’s Considerate Contractor Scheme.
Keltbray picked up the gold level award again for their performance at the new £165 million Barts Square residential-led mixed-use scheme, near Smithfield, in London, where the firm is demolishing a complex of 19 buildings to make way for a new 236-home development.
It is the second CCS Gold awarded to the Keltbray team for its work on the site, where the company is currently working on the third and final phase of development scheduled for completion in September this year.
Carolyn Dwyer, the City of London Corporation’s director of the built environment, said: ‘The Gold Award recognizes that the requirements of the Code of Good Practice have been consistently exceeded. It reflects a spirit of pride, an awareness of the needs of the passing public and regard for the surrounding environment, and recognizes the overall performance of all personnel working on behalf of Keltbray during the past year at the site.’
