Aggregate Industries appoint new CEO
François Pétry succeeds Pat Ward as chief executive officer of Aggregate Industries
AGGREGATE Industries, part of the LafargeHolcim group, have appointed François Pétry as their chief executive officer with effect from 1 December 2015.
Mr Pétry joins Aggregate Industries from his current role as chief executive officer of LafargeHolcim Romania, where he has grown the business and led the way in ensuring the company’s recovery from a challenging market since his appointment in early 2014.
Mr Pétry has a strong background in quarrying having held the role of general manager for aggregates in Holcim France since 2008. Prior to that held senior roles in the infrastructure, construction and waste industries in France.
Commenting on his new appointment, Mr Pétry said: ‘I’m proud to be joining a business with such a strong pedigree in the industry. There’s no doubt that Aggregate Industries are growing from strength to strength and, as part of the LafargeHolcim Group, we now have unrivalled access to industry experts across the globe.
‘I look forward to building on this success and helping the business become the safest and most customer-focused company in the industry. My priority has always been safety, customers and our people, and it’s clear that Aggregate Industries hold the same values.
‘I’d also like to thank my predecessor, Pat Ward, for his contribution to the business and wish him well for the future.’
