ABB expand preventive maintenance kits
ABB have extended their range of preventive maintenance kits for their industrial drives. The new versions of the kits – now available for the ACS600 and ACS800 series of drives – contain all the genuine spare parts required to service drives at planned intervals, extending their service lives and minimizing any risk of product failure and downtime.
Preventive maintenance plays an important role in ABB’s ‘Lifecycle Management Programme’, which encourages customers to get the maximum benefit from the company’s drive products throughout their entire service lives.
The maintenance kits simplify the purchasing process by providing everything the user needs in a single package. The kits are also cost-effective, since they are packaged and delivered at a lower price than it would cost to buy all the components separately. A typical kit, for example, might contain replacement cooling fans, cables and capacitors.
ABB industrial drives are often used in arduous conditions, such as those in the metals, mining and cement industries. By taking advantage of the preventive maintenance kits, ABB users can plan and budget more easily, while getting the most out of their ABB drives for many years to come.
