Rapid Crushing & Screening Contractors Pty Ltd – a leading force in Western Australia's mining and civil industries for over 44 years – is offering an extraordinary opportunity for a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Fitter (Crushers) to join our team.

We're seeking a Crusher Fitter who is:

  • An expert in preventative maintenance on crushing plant and heavy-duty mobile equipment (Jaw crushers / Cone crushers)

  • A skilled diagnostician with the ability to swiftly fault-find breakdowns.

  • A Metso crusher expert with extensive experience in both electrical and hydraulic systems.

  • Has a solid work history in the Quarrying or Aggregates industry

  • A safe and competent operator of mobile plant (if ticketed).

  • A team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.

Your Role:

Based in our Perth or MacKay workshop, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising our mobile and fixed plant crushing operations. Once your up and running you may also work on occasion at any of our Australian remote (outback) mining operations (flights, accommodation, meals and uniform provided)

Your duties will include:

  • Focusing on preventative maintenance to ensure optimal plant performance.

  • Diagnosing and resolving complex electrical and hydraulic issues on Metso crushers and other equipment.

  • Operating mobile plant safely and efficiently (if qualified).

  • Utilising the crusher cab effectively.

Essential Requirements:

  • Have a recognised Trade Certificate (essential for visa sponsorship)

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a heavy industry (Quarry) environment, with experience on Metso crushers (preferred) and a strong practical mechanical systems background, electrical and hydraulic systems, drive systems – motors, belts, pumps, gearboxes, crushers and vibratory screens

  • Current and valid Driver’s Licence.

Desirable Skills:

  • Mobile plant licenses (Front End Loader, Skid Steer, Haul Truck – or equivalent)

  • High-risk work licenses (EWP, Rigging, Dogging, Crane – or equivalent)

Other requirements
