WPS and Iona Waste Systems Partner to Showcase Air Separation Technology
Iona Waste Systems will be joining forces with their new dealers Waste Processing Solutions (WPS) – the specialist recycling arm of the Finlay Group – to showcase the new Airtrac 3200 S at Hillhead 2010.
Utilising the latest air separation technology, the Airtrac 3200 S is manufactured in Northern Ireland and combines German technology from two market leaders - Hein Lehmann and Westeria – to deliver a versatile, mobile wasteprocessing machine suitable for a wide range of waste sectors.
It is particularly effective in managing small fraction fines clean-up, ranging from 0 to 50mm.
At Hillhead, visitors to Iona Waste System’s stand - number C16 - will be able to see the Airtrac 3200 S, plus samples of typical material and output from a range of applications, including construction and demolition, residual, commercial, glass, wood, compost and scrap metal.
In 2008, the Finlay Group launched WPS to meet the fast growing demand for efficient, cost-effective waste recycling solutions. They have recently been appointed dealers for Iona Waste Solutions in England and Wales.
Hubert Watson of Iona Waste Systems, said: “This partnership will deliver the necessary technology and expertise to enable customers to recycle up to 95 per cent of their construction and demolition and/or construction and industrial waste material.
“Once processed, the materials can be used as high-grade recycled products such as aggregates, steel and refuge derived fuel.”
Following on from Hillhead, WPS and Iona Waste Systems have organised an open day for people interested in seeing the machinery in action at a site in Macclesfield. Taking place on 19 July, more details about the event can be obtained by contacting WPS on 01785 282323.
Leon Sheehy, a director of WPS, said: “The dealership provides customers with best in class machinery, and the back-up of WPS’s extensive after sales and support service.
“We are looking forward to showing the Airtrac 3200 S at Hillhead – and at the open day in July. The machinery offers customers maximum added value for converting waste products into profit.”
