Wireless analysis from Parker Hannifin

Parker Hannifin have added the power of Bluetooth to their MS100 moisture sensor and their range of portable particle analysers.

Remote data collection via Bluetooth means no EMC/RFI communication restrictions are circumvented and maintenance engineers, with multiple applications to monitor, can manage their systems remotely, getting information direct to their computer or PDA. By removing the need to physically ‘plug in’ to hardware, wireless transmissions remove many of the design-for-maintenance headaches that can conflict with the functional aspects of many designs. The ability to effectively seal systems is brought to the fore with wireless data transfer.

Parker’s MS100 moisture sensor provides a compact, real-time solution to continuous water contamination condition monitoring in hydraulic and lubrication systems. It operates with petroleum/ synthetic hydraulic and lubricating oil and a phosphate ester version can also be specified.

Parker’s LaserCM particle analyser combines advanced laser technology with the company’s white-light CM20 six-channel contamination monitoring.

As well as offering a 2m test time it can also provide data logging, instant data retrieval from the handset, 32-character alpha-numeric data entry, graphs, automatic logging of tests via handset input, storage and data download into trend-analysis software.
