Weldability-Sif introduce Phantom Extreme
New impact-resistant ADF welding helmet suitable for prolonged grinding operations
THE new Phantom Extreme from Weldability-Sif is a professional ADF welding helmet featuring a large viewing lense and impact-resistant shell, making it suitable for grinding operations, as well as MMA, TIG and MIG welding applications.
Debris from shattered grinding wheels can easily penetrate most welding helmet shells, but the supplied impact-resistant shell will provide added safety to the welder. A dedicated grinding mode caters for use in prolonged grinding operations.
The Phantom Extreme helmet comes with a hard wearing, stylish iron girder design, has a large 97mm x 62mm viewing area to help the welder clearly see the weld zone and <1/25,000s Auto Darkening technology with low 2 amp minimum current sensitivity, making it ideal for TIG and Plasma welding applications.
Weighing 600 grams, the helmet is supplied with a large 133mm x 114mm x 9mm Auto Darkening filter cartridge with easy adjustment between shades 5-13. It has four light detection sensors to give welders complete assurance in all applications, including the welding of outside corners.
The Phantom Extreme, which meets EN 379, EN 175 and Ansi Z87.1 standards, is powered by a 6,000h, replaceable 3V Lithium battery for fast switching and low amp adjustable sensitivity and delay. It also has an auto-off switch to extend the battery life.
