Wear protection made easy

Eutectec UK have introduced the CastoStud 600 wear-protection system, a portable system designed for use in environments where in-situ wear protection was previously impossible. It can be applied on any steel base and consists of a power source, torch and a choice of either sintered carbide or hardened steel studs.

Suitable for use on excavator buckets etc, the studs prevent abrasive particles from wearing the surface by using both the stud and the ‘self-protecting’ effect produced as particles gather between the studs.
