US order for Hazemag
US-based cement manufacturers Essroc have ordered a 1,000 tonnes/h primary crushing plant from Hazemag & EPR GmbH to replace their existing system. Due for delivery in summer 2008, the new plant comprises an apron feeder and single-rotor AP-PMH 2022 primary impactor.
The feeder is equipped with an under-mounted scraper-chain conveyor for discharging spillage material, and a variable drive that adjusts the conveying rate in response to changing operating conditions.
Featuring a grinding path, the impactor can handle feed material up to 1m in length and produce as much as 97% of –100mm material in a single pass. It also includes a GSK-type rotor (2,000mm diameter and 2,200mm wide), which is of welded cast-steel construction and comes with a particularly high mass moment of inertia to ensure any peak in material flow is handled without difficulty. An electro-hydraulic gap-setting adjustment system is provided with the grinding path and impact aprons.
