Two new high-output screens from Kleemann
Kleemann add to mobile screen line-up with new Mobiscreen MS 1202 and MS 1203 units
KLEEMANN have introduced two new mobile screens offering outputs of up to 750 tonnes/h. The Mobiscreen MS 1202 and MS 1203 are available with two or three screen decks and have screening surface areas of 12 square metres on the upper and middle decks and 11 square metres on the lower deck.
Aiko Fischer, product manager for screening plants at Kleemann, said: ‘To achieve these high outputs, the material flow must be well designed, which is why we have generously dimensioned the feed hopper with a holding volume of 10 cubic metres, making feeding possible with a crushing plant or a large wheel loader.
‘Despite discontinuous feeding by a wheel loader, the large hopper volume ensures continuous material supply to the screen, whilst correspondingly wide feed and discharge conveyors guarantee unobstructed material flow over the screen, and the high-torque diesel engine ensures that the plant does not ‘run out of steam’.
For application flexibility, Kleemann offer a large selection of screen surfaces, including steel and plastic, with different mesh shapes – square, rectangular, harp-shaped etc.
‘Apart from pure performance data, the most important thing is the adjustability of the screen angle and amplitude to suit different feed materials and their properties. Besides the selection of a suitable screen surface, the correct selection of these parameters ultimately determines the screening performance and product quality,’ continued Mr Fischer.
As with other screening plants in the Mobiscreen series, both the MS 1202 and MS 1203 are driven by an efficient and powerful hydraulic power unit, whilst the Dual Power option also allows the screens to be driven by electric power only, further increasing their efficiency while reducing their impact on the environment through lower noise and exhaust emissions.
Both machines can be transported in one piece and are designed for rapid set-up and dismantling on site.
