TVG2006: Cultural Heritage and Sustainability
THIS one-day conference, organized by The University of Birmingham, takes place on 1 December 2006 in the De la Beche Theatre at the British Geological Survey headquarters in Keyworth, Nottinghamshire.
Exploring themes of cultural heritage and sustainable use of the Trent Valley, the conference programme comprises 11 presentations including, among others: Mineral industry research requirements in river floodplains: a view from the ALSF science co-ordinator; Putting alluvial archaeology into a policy context; The history of the aggregates industry in the Trent Valley; Using lidar to determine deposit character and preservation.
