Tudor Griffiths choose Volvo

The Tudor Griffiths Group have purchased two Volvo A35D articulated dumptrucks along with a Volvo L180E wheel loader for their Wood Lane operation.

The A35Ds have been deployed with the company’s existing Volvo EC360 excavator hauling sand and gravel from the current extraction area at Wood Lane to the processing plant. They will also be used on a number of general bulk earthmoving activities relating to all the various operations on site, including landfill preparation and restoration, waste recycling and the creation of conservation areas.

The main role for the L180E wheel loader, which is equipped with a 4.6m3 straight-edged bucket, will be loading, stocking and transporting material to customers’ vehicles, the on-site concrete batching plant and the Wood Lane pre-pack operation.
